Community Rules
1.Why there are rules
The community exists so members can learn from each other. Rules keep it useful: they stop the two things that kill a trading community fastest — people selling to it, and people pretending to know more than they do. These rules apply in the Discord and anywhere else members talk through the service, and they are part of the Terms of Use.
2.The rules
- No advice, no signals, no guarantees. Share what you see and what you think; do not tell anyone what to buy or sell, promise a result, or present a method as a sure thing. Nobody here is licensed to advise you, and nobody here is licensed to advise anyone else. By posting you confirm that it is your own opinion, not advice, and not something only licensed or qualified investors may receive.
- Be honest about results. Post a trade, post the whole trade — entry, exit, size, outcome. Cherry-picked wins and backtests described as live results are removed.
- No selling. No promoting other paid services, signal groups, courses, referral links, tokens or "opportunities". No unsolicited DMs to members. Ask a moderator before sharing anything you benefit from, and if you are allowed to share it — a referral link, your own product, a venue that pays you — say so plainly in the same message.
- Keep paid things paid. Do not share indicator access, invite-only scripts, member-only content or screenshots of them outside the membership, or another vendor's paid work inside it. Screenshots of your own chart or journal are fine to share anywhere, as long as the FloSignals branding stays visible and you do not post the code, the settings or the access details of a paid indicator.
- Be decent. No harassment, hate, threats, doxxing or pile-ons. Disagree with the idea, not the person. Keep it safe for work.
- Be yourself. One account, your own. No impersonating staff, moderators, other members or other companies, and no claiming to speak for FloSignals. Coming back on another account after a ban gets both accounts banned for good.
- Keep it legal. No market manipulation, pump coordination, insider information, or anything that breaks the law or an exchange's rules.
- Use the right room. Post where it belongs, do not flood, and do not ping people who have not asked.
3.Community scripts
A script you publish on flosignals.com/scriptsis a post like any other, and these rules apply to it: it is yours to publish, it is your opinion and not advice, and it is honest about what it does. Say what the script shows and how to read it; do not call it a system, a signal or a sure thing, and do not post a backtest as a track record. A protected script hides its code, not its claims — the description is held to the same standard as an open one. No selling through a script: no paid groups, referral links or other products in a description, a comment or a script's own text, unless a moderator has said yes and you say so plainly.
Ports credit the original and keep its licence. If a script you publish is a port or an adaptation of someone else's open-source work — a TradingView script, a GitHub repository — it may only be published if that work's licence allows it, it must be published under that same licence (or one the original permits), and it must keep the original's licence header at the top of the source, name the original author in the description, link to where it came from, and say what was changed. A script whose licence forbids it (a NonCommercial or ShareAlike Creative Commons licence, a protected or invite-only original, "all rights reserved") is not yours to port and is removed. The FloSignals Library follows the same rule for the scripts we port ourselves; the full list and the rule are on the Licences & Notices page.
Comments on a script are for the script. The author may delete comments on their own page; moderators may delete any comment, unpublish any script and remove any author for breaking these rules. Publishing is a member's privilege ([owner: confirm the tier that may publish — the chart's tier table says a Developer licence or above]), not a right, and it can be withdrawn.
4.Reporting a problem
To report a post or a member, use Discord's report function or ping a moderator; do not argue with the poster. Knowingly false reports are themselves a breach of these rules. If someone claiming to be staff messages you first, asks for a key, a password or a payment, or sends you a link to "verify" anything, it is not us — the Security page says how we do and do not contact you.
5.Moderation
Moderators may delete a post, mute, time out, remove or ban a member for breaking these rules, and do not have to warn first for the serious ones. A first or minor breach usually gets a warning or a short timeout; repeat breaches get longer ones; a serious one — selling, scamming, malware, harassment, a duplicate account to dodge a ban — can mean a permanent ban at once. A paid membership earns no exemption.
These rules are not a complete list. We may act on conduct not named here if it harms members or the community.
Decisions are made by people and are sometimes wrong; if you think one was, write to [support@flosignals.com or flosignals@gmail.com — pick one] with what happened and we will look at it. A ban from the community does not refund a membership. Discord's own terms and guidelines also apply on the server, and Discord can act on its own under them.
